Skywave was founded in 2017 as a private vehicle to hold real estate, operating businesses, and LP positions in selective funds across North America.

We combine traditional investment discipline with a modern operating mindset. Technology, efficiency, process improvement, and scalability are important parts of how we think about building and growing our investments.

Since 2017, Skywave Group has built experience across a wide range of investment structures and asset classes.

Our real estate activity has included residential portfolios, acquisitions, renovations, repositioning, land opportunities, and partnering in larger development-related ventures. We have been involved in both direct ownership and partnership-based transactions, including opportunities requiring underwriting, coordination, and active asset management on our side.

Beyond real estate, we have participated in private ventures, lending opportunities, fund investments, and specialized sectors connected to long-term market themes. This experience has provided exposure to different risk profiles, operating models, and capital structures.

Yahav Shirazi

Founder & CEO

Yahav has 15+ years of operating experience as a head of operations and program manager in multimillion-dollar organizations across aviation and technology, with a parallel track record as a real estate investor and operator across North America. He also serves as Managing Partner of Gal Investments, a Toronto-based real estate advisory and investment firm, where he leads operational and business development work across acquisitions, asset management, and capital placement. Yahav holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University and an MBA in Real Estate from Tel Aviv University.
